Why I Write – A Journey from Silence to Story
I’ve spent much of my life working alongside vulnerable people, helping shape trauma-informed care through storytelling, poetry, and lived experience. My journey into this work wasn’t merely a career choice—it was something far deeper, rooted in my desire to share enchanting stories that resonate with others.
As a child, I experienced something that left a lasting mark. I won’t go into detail here, but it shaped how I see the world, how I listen, and how I hold space for others. For many years, I carried shame that wasn’t mine, yet it propelled me toward the MacMushroom Universe of imagination and healing. Through embracing my past, I found the power of narrative to transform pain into purpose.
